Any help?

Hello,

I wonder if anyone out there with a busy social networking facility could help me out by kind of letting people know the following? My former work email is being bombarded with hundreds of emails, but I am no longer using that address. So, if anyone wants to contact me, the way to make contact right now is via this blog posting - this actual one. When I have a better method of communication I will update this message.

Best wishes,
Girija

The sudden barrage of emails may be attributed to an email doing the rounds. Have forwarded it your email mentioned in your blog post (just in case you havent seen it).

  12. Hello Girija,

Well, Im here on this blog of yours owing to a forward mail I received from my colleague sometime back. Well, I guess it explains why your e-mail has been bombarded with so many mails since the forward I received states your e-mail id as well as a link to this blog. Very few peopl actually post blogs when they have a mial id as an opion. Going through this page, I really appreciate the time you have taken out to respond to your writers. How many people actually do that (I mean celebrities)?
My reason for this post on your blog was to ask a few questions. Why didn't you pursue Indian cinema?
Secondly, even after moving to UK, Im sure you could have landed roles in movies there. How come you didnt pursue that line?
Well, I was a freelance writer until a few months back, so I am really interested in reading some of your articles. Could you let me know where I can find them? Or are you into journalism and the press?
Apart from all this, I see you still have fans who remember you. Vandanam is definitely memorable.

  19. This has been really interesting to know. We used to like some people, who come in movies or tv shows. After a long time how they are, what they have become and where they are; nobody knows. So this is really nice to know about you. I was in my school days when your movie "Vandanam" was released. I too feel that I have changed a lot from those days. Anyway, it was nice to hear about you.

    Thank you.

  27. Hi Girija,

I must first tell you that how crazy I'm about the movie 'Geetanjali'. 3 reasons for that are:
    1> Maniratnam
    2> Music
    3> You

I was really young when this movie was released and could not understand too much on Love etc.

I watched it again and the way you have acted is so good. I really liked that naughty looks in your eyes.

    Song "Om Namaha" is brilliant.

I checked your pic on this blogging site and I kind of could not relate the present picture to the Geetanjali. I know the time is not constant and so as age. :-D

    Another Fan of you.

    Me,
    Sanju

  31. Hi SJ,

Nice to know you are also a writer. I love writing. I used not to understand what people meant when they said "I want to be a writer" because I thought - well, everyone writes, what kind of a job can it be? But of course when you do it - hone an article, for example, it feels like making something. It is a lovely process and the outcome is so fulfilling.
Thanks for your comment, and best wishes for your writing.
PS my stuff is mainly for the newsletter Clinica World Medical Technology News where I was most recently a senior reporter. Did one piece too for The International Online on the Sri Lankan conflict (the link is on this blog somewhere). And some memoirs at the request of the magazine and online site UK Malayalee.
OK, keep up the good work and I will too.

    Best wishes,
    Girija
